OK, confirming:

1) Who has the liaison record sheet?
2) Who has the MOC record sheets?
3) Who has the maps?
4) Local CO: do you know who the reinforcements will be?

If local CO doesn't choose reinforcements can the unit CO choose for them?

Incidentally, you may want to re-read the rules on reinforcements.  The Local CO doesn't *have* to declare reinforcements until day-of, from the pool of players who actually made it to the game.  That's in the rules as a fail-safe against someone suddenly canceling without notice.

It's polite to have reinforcements ahead of time, but not strictly necessary.

Ok fine,  I'll pick the reinforcement lance a few days in advance.   ;)

Dan won't be there,  are there any other players that either won't be there,  or would prefer to not be chosen?

I don't mind being reinforcement. Had a good look at map and can be a good unit to eat away at their end. Fast and hard hitting, can also get on turn 2.

I think the options for reinforcements are Dragon,  Dancer,  Freya,  and Phoenix.  I'm leaning towards Dragon or Freya based on mechs available, but if one of those squads hasn't been called on much that would deserve consideration.

Additionally,  I need suggestions on BSP usage. Sorry guys,  i won't have time to truly study the scenario until Friday night. If you all come to a consensus that's fine,  move forward.

Brandon and I guessed it would be between Dragon and Freya. BSP, we should use 15-20 since they are guaranteed 10 anyway. I am thinking a few sniper/thumper shots and maybe a couple strafes.
With the reinforcements coming in from behind enemy lines, they are going to be in the most danger, especially if they jump on earlier than expected. We should try and cover them as best as possible. Then again, we do not know exactly where any unit will be until deployment, so choosing the lance is extremely volatile.

Plus their reinforcement come in wherever on the same edge and not knowing the deployment turn could cause problems. BSP should be a good balance of offense and defense either way.

Between Freya and Dragon I'm leaning toward Freya mainly due to weight and probable style of engagement.

However Rob is severely in need of spare mechs it seems

Might be a good mission to toss a couple mechs his way

I'm deferring to Hat on the BSP, approved by Rob.

Also, calling in Freya for the reinforcements, I like the tonnage.

One last thing, requesting that Hat be put on OpFor side to run BSP, so he gets more experience doing it, and also because Rob can't run lightning AND his lance AND BSP.

Thanks!

Here's my suggestion for BSP (20 points)

Long Tom (Smoke) (3)
Thumper x2 (6)
Strafe (5)
LAC x2 (2)
HAC x2 (4)

Thoughts?

I think I'd prefer to drop 1 HAC for another Thumper shot, but I'm good with whatever you go with.  (^_^)b

PC lances win.
Salvage value: 20,185,661
Salvage taken:
Awesome 8q: 6,598,170
Awesome 8q: 6,598,170
Shadow Hawk 2H: 4,444,057
Vedette tanks: 723,000
Vedette tanks: 723,000
Total salvage remaining: 1,099,264

Did not realize I used the values for the hetzers, which were destroyed, and not the vedettes.
