The GOL-5M is evidently just a MechForce UK version of the GOL-3M.  I just went over the sheets with Deadly, and they're the same thing and the same price.  So it's a -3M.  *shrug*.  I can normally pull the MFUK stuff out of the market, but I honestly didn't think it was even an MFUK version to check in the first place.

I’ll take a look at chits later. As a reminder given we’re supposed to be a medium weight unit, mission preference is still for the minor raids category. Reinforcement lances will need to be appropriate fits.  I will make an effort to give equal play time as much as possible. The unit only really needs one assault lance and Skaraborg claimed that well before I became CO.

I certainly won’t prevent you from getting what you want, I just want you to make informed choices.

Debating on the battlemaster or grasshopper if I can make room (yes I know black market) or possibly the Vulcan since I already have an xl waiting and well if the javelin dies I'm in trouble....

Ok, I missed Reaper and Skaraborg both being short.  Unless there are strong objections, here’s what I’m thinking:

Freya picks one pilot and that chit is accepted, bringing Freya to 4. The pilot not selected is then rolled off against Reaper or Skaraborg. That lance is at 5. The other two 4 pilot lances have first claim to any remaining pilots, rolled off as needed against the other 4 pilot lance.  Once those are resolved normal chit processes will be used. If any lance is below 5 next month, they will have priority in a similar fashion, so losing out this month puts you in a prime place next month though with an unknown market.

I *thought* I was going to wake up to drama.

If I am picking a single pilot, it will be Gianna (the assault pilot), because I want to add the Victor and have no assault pilots.  That is my main priority.  The presence of the TDR-5SE in the unit market means I also need a heavy pilot, because I don't have one of those either; the goal is to be able to field a "heavy cavalry" lance which can fill the gap between the cav units (5/8/5+) of Midnight/Reaper/etc, and the generally line combat units (4/6/0 or less) of Skaraborg/Bright/Phoenix.  Basically, if I'm fielding a heavy or assault, it goes 4/6/4, no less.  My goal isn't to get a heavier lance - it's to fill that role; from what is available to me in this market (so I have time to tweak the loadouts), the best Mechs for that job are the VTR and TDR.  I need pilots for both of those machines.

EDIT: Addendum to above.  I will withdraw my chit for Giselle Steiner (Heavy).  SGT Leigh Montgomery has sufficient XP (following the game) to purchase the Heavy Pilot classification, if no pilot presents himself in the August Marketplace.  Since I can cover the role regardless of next month's market, I don't need to hire a heavy pilot *now*.
