RWR Stinger LAM and Locust

Alrighty then, first up is a RWR Amaris Republican Guards Stinger LAM.

Terrible pictures, I know. I tried a new milk-jug lightbox, but still not anywhere close to what I want.






FYI, this was a mech I bought off of LotB, and after stripping it 2 years later discovered it was a repro. Only one I've ever gotten, so that's a decent record. Some of the details on this thing are atrocious, but I feel like it looks pretty good for a polished turd.

Next up is an unseen Locust. This one has a hand-painted RWR flag, although I'm not as happy with it as I am with the Kyudo's.

The paint jobs look good. Looking at the pics, it appears that you might need some light coming from the front. You have some shadows at the front of the pics. Other than that, for having the white background the pics are good.

Thanks for the comments Phil. I was trying to minimize the light from the front because my lights have yellow bulbs. I still need to get some white light bulbs. You should see the pictures before I did the auto-white balance thing in Gimp. I'm going to get some good bulbs this weekend, so hopefully that will improve my photos some.

check to see if you can set the white balance in the camera.
