Hey Steve, would it be possible for me to crash on the couch/floor/whatever of the hotel room saturday night?  I'll bring my own sleeping bag and will pay for part of the room cost that night.  Drew can't do Saturday and Sunday this year and I don't feel like paying for a room all by myself Saturday night.

I will be driving up myself, however I am all in favor of carpooling to/from hotel--->convention center.  I should have room in my vehicle for stuff if you would like to get with me earlier in the week.

What fun. We might be out $140 because GenCon fails at using a reliable carrier for badges.

In other news, FedEx still sucks. Like levels of suck I've not seen since Lemming Express went out of business.

Uh, you have a confirmation number, right?  Even if you don't get the badge in the mail, you can have one printed for you onsite if you have the confirmation number.

Which is great. But doesn't do much to alleviate the waiting in line for six hours that paying an extra $20 to have our badges shipped was supposed to avoid.

GenCon also will not reprint a badge with a delivery confirmation unless FedEx reports it as lost.

Essentially it was dropped in a light envelope on my porch during a thunderstorm with 45 mph gusts. Carrier negligence at its finest.

Okay guys (Raven_X, Death or Glory, and Tempo) here is the address and directions to the Motel 6.

West I-74 to West I-465.  Traveling on I-465: Exit at South Emerson Avenue, exit #52. Turn right (North).  Follow South Emerson Avenue to Elmwood Avenue(first right). The Motel 6 is at the northeast corner of the interstate.  5151 Elmwood Ave ph 317-783-5555

I am driving up Wed right after lunch.  I should be there around 2-3 pm.  Please pm your phone # and cell # so we will be able to coordinate arrival etc.  Wed afternoon I will be going to the convention center to pick up my stuff at will call.  If anyone wants to ride in with me, please let me know.

As of now, price for room will be split 3 ways Wed, Thurs & Fri and 4 ways on Sat.

Well guys and gal, it was great to see all of you at Gencon!  Rob, very large congrats (even from this WiE/Kell Hound ;)) for winning the Falcon Hazen Bloodname!  I lost in the first round in a referee's split decision (1 to 2).  Typical for me at cons I guess--I can't concentrate hit locations to save my butt  :( >:(  The rest went well.  Brett, thanks for that small shadowrun to find out the results of Iron Painter.
