Apocalypse Rising is going to be concluding in a month, so I figure its probably a good time to get this discussion going.  I'm pretty eager to get the new campaigns started, however November and December sessions have traditionally been poorly attended due to lots of people having family commitments during those two months, so launching two new campaigns during those two months might be problematic.

I'm somewhat surprised we aren't starting one of them on Oct 5th, but maybe that's because not enough people can make it. I'm looking forward to seeing these get off the ground as well. These boards have been WAY too quiet lately.

Steve's campaign would be hard to start before AR's finale as some of the characters planned for it may be dead.  Travis could potentially start his game early.  As for the campaigns starting in Nov. and December, it should be easier to schedule each given the required people for each has shrunk.  Right now I think it's currently set for 5 players for Travis' game and 6 for Steve's, with the only dedicated overlaps being the 2 of them.

That should be fun.  Have you figured out what you'll do if more than 2 people test to the levels that would make them either the Star Captain or the Star Commander?

I think Steve was saying this might be difficult since it's possible some PC's wouldn't survive the last AR scenario. Of course, it could still be done anyway, and if a PC dies during AR then the trial result gets thrown out. It would be fun, I'd look forward to playing some OpFor for those trials.

I'm not available this Saturday, so my trials of position will need to wait until after the 26th.  Unfortunately November 9th isn't likely to work.  The play that I'm assistant director for opens on the 8th and runs that weekend and the following.  If I tried to disappear on the 9th my wife would be quite upset.  Boeing Boeing is a really funny show and well worth seeing.  Tickets are on sale and available at http://www.masonplayers.org/

I can do the December date (7th) at this point.  I could potentially arrange to do a 1 off evening after 8 PM during the week sometime after mid November if December will be too late.

Sorry I'm late getting things posted.  I will post the "trials" later today.  I have no problem starting it tomorrow for whomever shows.  I will have sheets and minis [maybe not all of the correct ones, but lead none the less].  Phil, I apologize for taking so long.  I will pm you tonight.
