Has anyone taken Jade Falcon or Ghost Bear yet?

Ghost Bear was not one of the choices. Blood Spirit, Cloud Cobra, Coyote, Fire Mandrill, Goliath Scorpion, Hell's Horses, Ice Hellions, Jade Falcon, Diamond Shark, Snow Raven, Star Adder, Steel Viper and Wolf.

My choice is Blood Spirit.

Dan, the Ghost Bears had moved entirely out of the Homeworlds by the dates in question, which is why they aren't available.  Extinct Clans also aren't available, as they're extinct.  All others are.

Clan Ostrich could be really fun too.  That duck your head into the sand maneuver can cause some real angst in the opposing force.

Dan, no reason you can't play Jade Falcon if you want.  So far you're the only one I've heard of expressing interest in them other than maybe Rob.  Even with Rob, there's only 2 of you and that's still fine.
