I have finally acquired, modified the mechs that needed it to represent the none prime variants. Now to get painting.
I should say that there are a couple of minis that will not be repainted, as they are part of the collection and painted by other artists. A Black Python by Psycho for one. It will remain a Steel Viper for ever.

I was planning on organizing a thread about this very topic after the holiday.  If for no other reason than "I need a 5-pack of Protos".

I will be making a run as well.  Maybe tomorrow, possibly next week.  I don't remember if they need cash or if they take credit cards.  I'm also not sure I can still get mongrels from them.  I found them as part of a 5 pack of light/medium star adder 'mechs with an associated product code, but it begins AR and they don't individually show up for sale.

My goal is to try and have accurate representations of my 'mechs.  I'm thankful that my pilots shoot better than I assemble / paint or I should quit before I start.

Cash is what I usually have. They may not have change, so take several denominations to get as close to total.
The AR are for sale out of the bins, they have been archived and through the online store there is an additional one time charge. No charge for picking them out yourself.
For anyone going, I usually take plastic Ziploc bags purchased from Office Depot. Makes keeping the parts together for each mech.

Logan and I just made a large order with them.  Every time I get mechs from them I email a list first and they are very grateful that I do.  Plus this time they didn't have some of the mechs cast yet.  So I am waiting on the Goshawk and Ryoken. I took the last Nobori-nin they had cast.  They have been really busy with the holidays and the Ral Partha kickstarter they are doing.  I think we need to remember that they are not a store but the factory. They treat our group really well. I appreciate the deals we get and their willingness to get the orders together. This is just meant as a "heads up" it may not be a great idea just to swing in on them at this time of year and maybe shoot them an email first. I usually give it about a week after I've emailed to give them time to get the order together. Melissa's email is officewench@ironwindmetals.com.

Would it help if we posted a list of our available mechs (outside of our PC forces)? If you'd like, I can set up a GoogleDoc and everyone could have their own tab to post mechs on. Just an idea.
