OK, if you'll remember, I was clear about Sylvie retiring at the end of the unit's 2nd contract, so I (Rob) will continue as GM and so someone else can do the Unit CO bit.  I'm going to be rolling out a new PC now, so I have time to get the new Mech for him/her/it and get it painted up.  I do plan to use the normal retirement rules; essentially, Sylvie will retire, Fairchild Lance will remain with the unit, and a new Lance Leader will take Sylvie's place and inherit a portion of her XP (and maybe an SPA, depending on how she spends any XP from this contract).

Which means ya'll probably want to start discussing who is going to be the new CO.

Sylvie was an example PC, so I don't plan to go all random rolls this time (except for starting faction).  I'm building a character to succeed at the game.
