I sincerely apologize, but the rules document is correct.  Burning Edge is available for Lance Leaders only.  The rationale is that we aren't (and can't, without full RPG writeups for every wingman) track the medical statuses required, given the Serious Injury rules.  This means that Kelly Ross is in fact KIA.  Again, my sincere apologies for the confusion.

For everyone else: Xotl and I did not take this into account while working on the Breakthrough rules; Wingmen who burnt Edge to survive the Breakthrough rolls still survive, and are immune to the Serious Injury chance, for this singular, special case.  This has been noted for future revision for his next edition of the rules.

Dancer Actual confirms destruction of Dancer 3, PXH-3Mx.  Pilot of Dancer 3, Sgt Jeff Smith has one point of edge and will spend the edge point and burn edge if necessary.  Does burning result in one less pilot hit for non-lance leader personnel?  And is major injury roll required?
