See.  Hvy woods map was what I was afraid of.

WHY?!  You've got JJs, and the civvies start in the center of the map.  As long as BOTH sheets weren't Heavy Woods (spoiler: with the original terrain, they totally would have been), the civvies have somewhere to go, and in this particular case they move directly away from the OPFOR, which have to cross the Heavy Woods map.  As long as there's *some* vee-friendly terrain, heavy woods will be your friend today.

The dark colored woods are Heavy, the light-colored woods hexes are Light

The only other rule you need to know is that civilian units cannot exit the board during these scenarios.  I *suggest* that you keep the Kyudo very near the vees in order to provide a backup line of support, while you maneuver aggressively with the Pixie, but how you run the game is your business.   Civilian units have a full load of ammo; the artillery piece has standard artillery ammo, and since the unit doesn't have spare ammo for it, it will only have the amount of ammo it survives this fight with.

Anyway, Dan has the OPFOR already, has been briefed on how they're supposed to fight and prioritize targets, and now you've got deployment info.  You're responsible for the civilian record sheets and running them (they follow your orders), so you should have everything you need to get rolling.

Oh, right.  Ending the battle.

Assuming you survive, you get to keep any units which are salvageable, plus any living pilots, whether they're ejected or not.

You also gain a Random Bonus for each surviving civilian unit (rerolling "Civilian Vehicle" and "Civilian Mech" results, since those are assumed by the scenario already), and if the Kyudo survives, it and its MechWarrior will join your lance for free.  Surviving vees are kept by the unit.

Basically, solo missions are tough, but you get awesome rewards (and can use them for force extra XP on your MechWarriors).  The mission is potentially giving you and you alone salvage on 3 mechs, plus recovering a Primitive Mech and a free MechWarrior (medium-classed), 5 XP (3 kills + winning + surviving), plus up to 4 Random Bonus rolls.

Finally, OPFOR *can* flee if they're crippled (if Dan can't decide whether to have a unit flee, each turn after it's crippled, it'll choose to flee on a 2d6 of a 9+).  You still get Kill XP on a unit which has fled the board due to being crippled.  There is no MVP or Most Enjoyable bonus for a solo mission.

Tomorrow would be easier at this point as I have time caps today

Monday evening next week is open, Tuesday is likely out.  After that is wide open.

7pm should be fine.  Do you own the maps in question?

7 depends upon the day for me.  I go to bed at 9 [up at 4:30] and have a half hour drive back home from your house.  Unless Friday night?

Maps, sheets and minis in my car.

Friday is probably the safest bet at this point.

Dancer sucessfully completed the mission, recovering all civilian units intact.  The artillery piece also did some serious Thumping, having successfully landed 5 shots, including one kill.
