Whoa, these pirates have got deep pockets. Some nasty mechs there and not a "bad" pilot in the entire force.

30x40 is a 2x2 map right? Seems small for so much stuff, I think I'd want more opportunity to divide and conquer and hit stuff at range if possible.

Also, dusk/dawn means a To-hit mod?

Crusher and Ice lances are both all jumpers, right?
I am looking at the terrain and how many of them jump.
River delta and such will screw most of the tanks quite nicely.

Rob - let's reroll size. Also, how would river huge look for us on mapsheets?

Customs thread shows Ice lance Warhammer as not having JJ's, but it's possible that isn't updated. Everything else can jump.

I'm thinking the time of day works against us here, since they have decent pilots. Attrition isn't on our side. But rerolling the map size is more important to start with.

Lighting is second on the list for sure.
His Warhammer is also very well suited to holding our side of the river if the river is across the map. If it is lengthwise, he would just stay on his bank.
The deployment rules and BSP will have some impact.

Warhammer does not jump but it is meant as direct fire support

It's intended use was as a long to mid range Then as weakness shows to push into a short to mid range support role the rest are short range to mid range brawlers meant to hunt light to medium elements or find a isolated mech and put it out of its misery

Any psr I make with warhammer need 3 unless there is psr mod for fog even so it can't really be more than 1 or 2 so still favorable if I have to move fast also terrain master woods will help with trees

Huge Rivers are generally 3-5 hexes across, which means I'll likely have to scratchbuild a river (done it before and already have a template, so no worries there).  Essentially that river will likely bisect the map and the underlying terrain OR will flow into a Coast Map. 

Rerolled map size.  Currently 45x40 (3x3).  You have 2 rerolls left.  Do recall that Heavy Fog will impact any air support you include as well.  Presence or absence of ENEMY air support is partially predicated on the outcome of the air battle.

Dancer is the likely reinforcement lance. But Dancer has an individual mission a couple of days before this mission. So that will need to resolve first and see if Dancer can reinforce. Midnight and/or Freya will be backup depending on player/opfor numbers.

Kong will be otherwise engaged with a solo mission and a couple of days later will participate in the base attack along with Skaraborg and Dragon.
