How about we just reroll each of them now and see what happens.
To expound on what Jon said so it doesn't sound quite so black & white:
The limitations of the forum (as they apply to "speed of communication") mean that I really don't want to take a week+ to resolve things while you folks reroll every possibility for every contract. It will keep everyone in limbo too long, and it will frustrate the hell out of everyone, but particularly me.
Therefore, what we're doing is "you guys choose one contract to pursue", and we do the rerolls for THAT contract. If and only if the rerolls make the contract into something really obviously a loser (ie, "go from 75% Transport/50% salvage/50% BLC down to 35% Transport/40% salvage/10% BLC"), then we'll allow for a second contract attempt. But that's going to be it; no more.
There's a ton of ways for this to make sense, in-universe. The most obvious is simply the limitations of your legal team; unlike employers, ya'll aren't keeping around 500 contract lawyers per planet, each of whom bill 50,000 CB/hour. Choose whatever justification you like, but we aren't doing rerolls on every contract, for the above-mentioned out-of-character logistics rationale.

My thoughts:
DAO: It's a fine contract; I just don't like the location. The TC is a *long* way away, and we were trying to get back towards the center of the IS. It also means that the *next* contract we take after this one is almost certainly going to result in a huge amount of travel time. And while New Ganymede has a little water, germanium deposits, and the Taurian Desert Warfare Training Facility...it's an utter shithole of a planet, and I don't want to deal with a) the heat, b) Taurians, and c) enough radiation that it canonically messes up Mechs. Thanks, SLDF, for bombarding the planet for 3 months and putting so many rads into the atmosphere that it's STILL a problem.
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/New_GanymedeEAGLE FLIGHT: It's a crappy contract. It's nice that it's nearby, but that means that the 100% Transport rating really isn't doing much for us. However, it's a *safe* choice, most likely. Rebels generally mean FWL dissidents, so we'd be looking mostly at FWL-branded salvage.
SHATTERSTAR: Eh. Unlike others, I'm not pathologically disinclined to take long contracts, though I'd prefer taking them on planets which help us via factories and so forth. Wrentham doesn't do that. The actual terms of the contract are actually quite solid, and Wrentham is up near the Terran corridor, so it puts us in a good position to take follow-up contracts. C-rated CapCon salvage isn't encouraging, though.
HENHOUSE/BLAZING CRANE: so, both of these are solid contracts. HENOUSE is a shorter contract with worse terms (note that the salvage can't be negotiated), while BLAZING CRANE has really good base terms, but requires a longer commitment. I'd personally prefer BLAZING CRANE, because the base terms are
that good, and frankly, we already know that we're likely to see action (given the existence of HENHOUSE), so one of the major garrison contract concerns isn't really a problem this time. However, either of these contracts can be a winner; HENHOUSE is so short we can move on quickly even if it's a crappy experience. Oh, and again, Athenry is centrally-placed in the IS.
