Ok, let's try again for the map size, please.

35x50.

2 maps east-west, 3 maps north-south.

No rerolls remaining.

Well, slightly less intimate, but still a challenge.  Please generate the full scenario when you have time.  Thanks.

Ones I can use (not sure if you want colors close to the Opfor colors)...
Not if we can avoid it. There are enough issues with color blindness and IIRC the lighting at the Vatican is less than optimal.

Like most people here, I am not the only one with a bevy of different colored mechs. Not that I have many to use at the moment since I started collecting them. Just assumed we were trying to RP a little with this one.

FINAL SCENARIO

NORTH

SOUTH

Maps
Desert Hills........Large Lakes 1
Large Lakes 2....CityTech
Lake Area........Large Mountain 2

CityTech Map will have approximately 20 hexes of buildings.  All buildings are CF 45, regardless of listed type.

Deployment
OPFOR Deploy: Deploys in a rectangle; up 3 hexes East or West from the North-South centerline of the map.
PC Deploy: Enters from Western Board Edge (anywhere) as per initiative order (units may choose to use Jump MP to enter map).
OPFOR Reinforcement Deploy: Enters from Eastern Board Edge (anywhere) as per initiative order (units may choose to use Jump MP to enter map).
PC Reinforcement Deploy: Enters from Western Board Edge (anywhere) as per initiative order (units may choose to use Jump MP to enter map).

Environmental Effects:
Mining Residue: the water in this area is toxic and corrosive.  *Each* location submerged in water will take 1d6 damage during the End Phase of a turn in which a Mech is in a water hex.  This damage will not force a Breach Check, but if no more armor remains on a location, the location is rendered inoperable as per normal rules for unarmored and submerged locations.

Battlefield Support
Rangers may choose up to 10 BSP worth of support.

Draconis forces receive an allowance of 100% of the Ranger choices (there is a BSP floor they will not go below).
-Note that OPFOR air support can target PC Battlefield artillery support.  This can be countered by Air Cover as per normal.  The actual specific artillery vehicle targeted will be randomized.

PCs Victory Conditions:
1) Destroy (not cripple) at least 4 mobile enemy units by end of game time
2) Have no more than 3 PC units destroyed or crippled by the end of game time
3) Keep a unit stationary for one full turn within 5 hexes of the southeastern map corner, northeastern map corner, and within 3 hexes of 0107 on the east-central map.  These unit(s) must survive until the end of game time

OPFOR Victory Conditions:
1) Destroy at least 4 PC units
2) Destroy at least one Lance Leader Mech
3) Keep at least 2 mapsheets from being scouted (see item #3 under PC Victory Conditions)

***EXTING THE BATTLEFIELD***
Exiting the battlefield requires a unit to remain stationary at the board edge for 1 turn.  Only a single spent MP is required to move offboard (ie, the environments MP penalties doesn't apply; or, more specifically, the Minimum Movement rule overrides it).

***Draconis Combine MechWarriors will fire on ejected MechWarriors whenever possible***

Well, this will be brutal. I think you may want Skaraborg for this one just for the weight. Sad to see the destroy requirement, it will limit salvage. Push things into the lake for kills.

Eastern top map 0909 is under depth 4 water that's gonna suck maybe a medium jumper can get in sit there and get out while making it buts gonna be a lot if damage possibly

I would almost say that that 230% lam would be the best option since robs lam is not able to fly

Actually just about any mech that goes in there dies because of rear armor
Most mechs have 1 turns worth maybe 2 not 3 worth of armor in rear section the rolls would need to be really good

This could end up a draw if not a loss

Why can't Freyas LAM fly?

Reinforcements must be assigned to defense or scout

Freya is in fight

I guess that is just a VP that we will need to metagame the crap out of and decide whether to jump in on the second to last turn.

I've changed the PC victory conditions.  Upon further review, the previous version makes the scenario unreasonably difficult.
