For those that need repairs being done, Dragon lance can go back out to the field with 3 mechs on 11/3. The other 3 mechs (Rifleman, Vindicator, Archer) can be placed in storage until all parts are available for repairs.

I was looking online trying to figure out the class for gyros in general. The only thing in the refit schedule is Class F, which states that its a change of gyro type (from normal to compact eg.), but nothing about altering the size of the gyro. I looked online for an answer and saw that on the catalyst thread, that anything to do with gyro is Class F. With that in mind, we are to assume this to be the case right?
Also with that in mind, do you mind if I remove some posts regarding pulling out the gyro from rifleman and putting into thunderbolt, or just move the dates when the time comes up?

the ostsol will not be done in month of december and depending on parts in next contract/market/rolls for scrounge may not even be fully fixed in january let alone modified to be suitable although it is workable if i can get the parts in january or sooner

What specifically are you intending to do? Any refits involving the gyro are going to be class D or F (in my reading of the rules) because there are only two ways the gyro needs to change. 1. Changing speed/engine rating enough to need a larger/smaller gyro or 2. installing a special technology gyro. In the first case, you have a class D refit because your gyro size requirement is defined by the engine rating, it just makes swapping a 250 engine out for a 300 take that extra bit longer. If you are swapping an engine type and rating, you are in the same spot on a class F refit. And if you are specifically installing a special tech gyro, you are clearly in F anyway. Let Rob confirm that gyro changes do to simple engine rating changes are class D, but the other cases will clearly be F regardless.

It was just the removal from one mech to replace the one I took is all. If that is the case then I should be fine to do so in ship then.

If you aren't changing anything about the gyro, then it is just a part and changed like any other equipment.
