Reaper is called up for this mission, but I will not be at the Dec 9 game as posted in the RSVP thread. My lance be can used. I can send pdf's of recorded sheets with pilot info and quirks to someone to print out.

Do not worry about it. We can do it in your place. Feels more natural if players play with their own lance anyway.

... and they use one of the fast lights, like the Falcon or Hermes that can get good mods running or even walking. That would give them a +2 or +3 on the indirect shots...

If I recall correctly,  there's an absolutely crap mechwarrior in a Firestarter that really shouldn't do anything other than park on something tall and preferably in cover and direct LRM fire until he dies.
Reasons I like ER PPCs let me count them, all 23 hexes.

FINAL MISSION


NORTH

SOUTH

OPFOR Deploy: Enter from East Edge
PC Deploy: 10 hexes from board center
OPFOR Reinforcements enter: Any Eastern edge, or up to halfway across the either the North or South Edge (East half)
PC Reinforcement enter: Any Western edge, or up to halfway across either the North or South Edge (West half)

OPFOR Recieves 8 points for Battlefield Support.

PCs Victory Conditions:
1) Keep more than 4 units non-destroyed (50% of 2 starting lances).  Cripples are alive as long as they can expend MP.
2) Cripple or Destroy at least 6 OPFOR units
3) Keep any OPFOR units from exiting the west board edge
4) Destroy the enemy Commander's Mech

OPFOR Victory Conditions:
1) Cripple or Destroy at least 6 Player units
2) Keep more than 8 units non-destroyed (50% of 16 starting units).  Cripples are alive as long as they can expend MP.
3) Exit at least 2 non-crippled units weighing at least 65 tons from the west board edge.
4) Destroy at least 1 Lance Leader

***Capellan Armor Crews will not abandon a vehicle until it is incapable of firing AND incapable of movement***

***Capellan MechWarriors will fire on ejected MechWarriors if there are no closer enemy units***

***Capellan units will prioritize fire against enemy units which have captured a Capellan MechWarrior***

edit: nevermind, scenario says 35x35 so that makes sense

Yeah, I was expecting more wooded, less hills...
I think we are going to be fight in the south central map a lot.
The VC to get 2 units across the board will be difficult to prevent given the Falcon and Hermes.

Rob, do they have to stop at map edge to get off, or just run right off?

OpFor can prevent the PCs from getting that VC by exiting any unit.  In order to earn their own corresponding VC, they've got to exit 2 mechs of at least 65 tons.  There are only 5 that qualify.

As far as I'm aware they have to sit on board edge one turn that's how it's been in prior scenarios
