Lance cleanup - EVERYONE READ FROM POST 10 onward

OK, I'm about to turn on the full set of random events and start taking everything into account now that we're deep into the campaign and everybody know how this stuff works.

Several people have stuff from their PCs which weren't finished and I need that to be completed ASAP:

BRIGHT LANCE: I need the planet your Contact (2) is from.

CRUSHER LANCE: I need the planet your Enemy (1) is from.

DUNEDAIN: I need the area your Good Repuation (4) is covering.  It can be up to the size of a Successor State

MIDNIGHT LANCE:  I need the area your Good Repuation (4) is covering.  It can be up to the size of a Successor State.  I also need the planets both of your Contact (2) are from.

REAPER LANCE: I need the planet your Contact (2) is from.

SKARABORG LANCE: I need the area your Good Repuation (2) is covering.  It can be up to the size of a prefecture or march (like the Donegal or Skye March).

Contacts on Tsitsang and Wernke.
MW3 I believe stated that Good Rep 4 was the IS, if it’s just a Major SS it’d be FS.

I thought good rep. 4 was the whole inner sphere (?). If it is just one state, then FS.

I don't know much about the planets in the innersphere. So can Luca's and I have some suggestions for our contacts? My Lance leader went to Lyran Academy/ Coventrey, did Tour of duty pirate hunting and second tour of duty against clans (which hasn't come yet) or Lyran enemy of the time. Oh yeh, parents were diplomats and drug me from planet to planet and I have pro Victor Stigma.

Luca's went to Fed Suns academy/Robinson. He a tour of duty against clans or enemy of Fed Suns of that time. He also has a Loyalty to Sandaval family if that means anything to someone.

Please give suggestions that would make the most sense.

Mike,

Coventry and Robinson make good choices if you have single planets.  If it's larger (March size) say the word and we can provide the appropriate regions for those planets.

Lyran Enemies from the Isle of Skye are popular and would work for either Steiners or Davions.

Bright
Robinson is a good all round Draconis March world that is loyal to Sandoval (IIRC).

OK, we're going to take a few days and consolidate and re-set the TO&E before moving forward.  You have until Saturday to have completed your post-contract record-keeping cycle.  I NEED this to be done ASAP because the post-contract TO&E adjustments will affect the unit payroll and Dragoons Score, and those things affect the next set of generated contracts...so if you want the good things about the unit taken into account, they need to be accounted for.

When you've completed your cycle, please chime in here that you've done so.  If I can get everybody to chime in prior to Saturday, I can move forward more quickly with contract generation and you'll have more IRL time to do things prior to the May 19th game.

Things which need to be done:
1) UNIT CO - update unit with end-of -contract money (including transport costs)
2) UNIT CO - decide what units are being sold for cash, sell them off, and update unit with any money it's keeping.  Split the other cash evenly between lances.
3) HAT - finalize your lance and let the CO know its stats
4) LANCE LEADERS - roll for prisoner recruitment.  Roll 2d6 and get equal or less than your CHA score (the roll gains a -1 bonus for the Attractive Trait, -1 if you have Good Reputation 3+ and your prisoner is from the area of your Good Reputation, and a -1 bonus if your SOC is 5+ and your prisoner is of the same faction as you). A Leadership score of 3+ gains you a reroll for one prisoner per contract. If you succeed then the prisoner can be recruited for a hiring bonus of 5,000 CB for Green, 10,000 CB for Regular, 15,000 CB for Veteran, and 25,000 CB for Elite skill ratings.  
5) LANCE LEADERS - Post in the thread about any recruited prisoners so I can roll for skills/SPAs.
6) LANCE LEADERS - Ransom prisoners who you choose not to recruit or whom you cannot recruit.  (rules PDF p28)
7) LANCE LEADERS - Make retirement checks for ALL Lance members, using the process found here: http://forums.cincybattletech.com/index.php?topic=868.msg12471#msg12471  This is considered to happen on  the day AFTER the contract ends (11/02/3045).
8.) LANCE LEADERS -  Receive money for BLC; if you had a unit which was completely destroyed during this contract, you recieve X% of the retail value of that unit (not including customizations; you're paid as per the base model).  This contract has a BLC rating of 60%, so if a 100 CB unit was destroyed, that unit's owner would get 60 CB at this time.
8.) LANCE LEADERS - Update your warehouse tracking with the above changes, and let the CO know what (if anything) has changed.
9) UNIT CO - Update TO&E and post it so I can make AtB adjustments.  Dragoons score SHOULD update in AtB automatically; note that the AtB score is a fixed 20 points lower than a hand-calculated score from FM:Mercs(r) and has been for every contract so far.  I don't know why, and I can't hand-adjust that, so we have to suck it up.
10) GM - Generate new Contracts for month of November using new Dragoons/payroll values.  
11) HAT - Your Lance is considered to join the unit at THIS time.  This effectively happens on 11/3/3045.  Yes, all of that stuff is considered to take place on the same day.
12) We decide to sign a contract or not.  Retiring unit members leave (and must be paid) the day the unit's next contract is signed, of after 30 days (12/02/3045) whether we sign a contract or not.

EMPLOYER DECORATIONS

As per the Contract Thread, some folks have earned employer bonuses.  These are dependent on both completing the contract with a minimum (perfect) score OR completing it early, and use Career/Soldier as the skill roll.

The Personnel receiving decorations are:

MAJ Saltier

St Ives Ribbon of Freedom: for commanding a unit which struck a severe blow against the Capellan Confederation
Cash Bonus: +$75,000 CB to the MAJ
Random Bonus: a SHD-1R Shadow Hawk is donated to the unit


St Ives Commendation Ribbon: for significant bravery in service to St. Ives
Cash Bonus: +$150,000 CB (based off roll MoS)

LT Hartmann

St Ives Commendation Ribbon: for significant bravery in service to St. Ives
Cash Bonus: +$175,000 CB (based off roll MoS)

LT Blunch

St Ives Commendation Ribbon: for significant bravery in service to St. Ives
Cash Bonus: +$100,000 CB (based off roll MoS)

LT Breisacher

St Ives Commendation Ribbon: for significant bravery in service to St. Ives
Cash Bonus: +$100,000 CB (based off roll MoS)

LT Freeman

St Ives Commendation Ribbon: for significant bravery in service to St. Ives
Cash Bonus: +$100,000 CB (based off roll MoS)

Lance finalized and confirmation email posted.  Warehouse updated and added to Hat's Lance thread.  Readiness thread notes as plans to customize before fielding, but am not clear what facilities are available to use  currently for the purposes of TN modifiers.  Also, how does that work if you begin maintenance and move from the type of facility you're in?  I think that's it for me, waiting to hire a doctor and techs, but otherwise ready.

No, don't roll.  Just add the amount (your Career/Soldier skills were already rolled in the ROLLING HORSE contract thread). I'm trying to let you know that the MoS of the roll affected the amount - Jon got an MoS of +3, so got 150k.  You got a MoS of 1, so got 100K.
