Question on the Orion.
We would have to outright sell it if the mech ends up losing the Snub-nose since that PPC will not be available until much later right?
With that being said, how would it work if we sold the component as is with it still being considered Lostech at this point, assuming the mech is salvageable and still has the PPC intact?

Honestly, we'll worry about that if it becomes relevant.

I really, really wish I could have brought a different Mech instead of the 2nd Hopper, but IMO we need heavy units badly, and everything needs jump capability to get me down to the Turn 2 reinforcements point, so I couldn't bring my Rifleman.  Boo.  What kind of jackass writes these scenarios where I can't bring everything that I want?

Also, shit, I need to start painting my 2nd Grasshopper.

If I have read the map sheets correctly for the military base and seaport (for the triangular buildings), they are level 1 buildings on ground level. I am assuming that the turrets within the base will be able to shoot over the wall right?

Along those lines:

1) If anyone owns DropPort maps, PLEASE BRING THEM.  I don't own enough to do the whole map.

2) There's evidently been a rules revision re: turrets as per the official forums.  The short version is that turrets which are not built into a building do not suffer the -4 immobile target modifier.  (ie, basically every turret I'm ever going to have in a scenario, because I don't want to deal with the combat structure rules and the resultant clusterfuck of critical hit rules).  However, if the turret is on TOP of a building, the building underneath it is still obviously an immobile target.

You can't make CBT rules up sometimes. Turret fires at you, then scuttles to a new location on the building.
