I will bring the opfor stalker, vindy, and orion.  I have a new printer, so I will also bring all sheets for Ally, st ives, and cappies.

I have an Orion that matches several others I'm already donating to the group.  Also, you guys can use my olive drab Rifleman, but I would strongly prefer Rob running it (Its a former PC mech and its a little special to me)

There are two Orions.  And 5 lights.

I do own two Orions, so I'll add the other one to the bag.

OK, I apologize again.  I hadn't had a root canal before, and it was somewhat more...intense...than I anticipated.  I got back and basically passed out.  3.5 hrs and 3 full doses of Novacaine.

I'm working on the scenario right now.  Should be up shortly.

FINAL SCENARIO

NORTH

SOUTH

Desert Mtn 1.....Desert Hills....Open Terrain 1
Large Mtn.....City Hills/Res 1....Battleforce 2
Open Terr 1.....Desert Hils.......River Valley

Deployment
On-board Ally deploy (Deploy First):  Within 5 hexes of Hex 0909 of the center map
OPFOR Deploy::  Deploy along the northern 5 hexrows.  No more than 1 lance may be placed on each mapsheet, and lances must be separated from other lances by at least 8 hexes
PC Deploy: Enter southern mapboard edge
PC Reinforcements enter: Along the southern map edge
OPFOR Reinforcements enter: n/a

Environmental Effects:
1) +3 to all Ranged Weapon attacks, +1 to all physical attacks - THIS INCLUDES INDIRECT ARTILLERY FIRE
2) +2 (total) to any PSRs if that unit used Running/Flank MP that turn; +1 to any other PSRs made by ground units; +1 to all aerospace PSRs
3) +2 MP cost to enter any hex via walking/running/cruise/flank movement
4) Illuminating a target with a searchlight avoids condition 1
5) A unit using a searchlight during the Movement Phase avoids conditions 2&3
6) Any unit shooting at a target which has an active searchlight avoids condition 1
7) Automatically-struck targets (adjacent buildings) do not suffer condition 1
8.) Searchlights have no effect on indirect artillery fire nor air support attacks; indirect artillery fire no longer automatically strikes previously-struck hexes.

PC Battlefield Support: TBD.

OPFOR Receives Fixed BSP assets: none

PCs Victory Conditions:
1) Destroy 50% or more of the attacking force (counts as 2 objectives)
2) Ensure that at least 3 on-board ally units remain operational (non-crippled) at the end of the game (counts as 2 objectives)

OPFOR Victory Conditions:
1) Cripple or Destroy at least 3 on-board ally units
2) Destroy at least 1 Lance Leader's Mech
Automatic Victory) If 6 or more PC units are destroyed (including the liaison), the battle is a loss for the PCs
Automatic Victory) If all on-board ally units are destroyed, the battle is a loss for the PCs

***ON-BOARD ALLY UNITS***
On-board allies are fighting to defend their own objective, and will not willingly move south of the City Hills/Residential board edge.

***EXTING THE BATTLEFIELD***
Units may not exit the battlefield during this scenario.

***Capellan MechWarriors will fire on ejected MechWarriors if no other legal targets exist within 3 hexes***

***Capellan units will prioritize fire against enemy units which have captured a Capellan MechWarrior, ignoring their defense of the convoy***

For those bringing mechs for opfor, are the sheets being printed by one person, or the person responsible for the mech?
Edit: disregard this post, figured it out.

1. Do environmental conditions impact ground fire against aircraft?

2. How many shots, how far away, etc. for the Long Tom and Thumper?

Provisionally, support will be 3x bombing and 2x arty support.

...come on, man.  Don't make me write out every possible permutation when the intent is clear.  "All" ranged attacks doesn't leave room for interpretation, save willful.

2. How many shots, how far away, etc. for the Long Tom and Thumper?

Essentially the same as what's in the BMM.  So, there's a 1-turn delay on artillery.  I thought I already made a ruling on artillery fire, but I'll make one now: up to 3 shots, per artillery piece, per game.  Each shot is still purchased individually with BSP.

Note that had you guys not done stuff earlier in the contract, they'd get a WHOLE MESS of air support, based on the BSP expenditure.  But since you've killed off their air, and they don't have native artillery and the scenario can't add mines, they're screwed.

EDIT: Also, do remember that ya'll don't have any spare Thumper ammo.  You have what's in the vehicle itself, minus what it fired during the Steve/Dan game, until most of the way through November.

The Steve/Dan game technically occurred the next day on the 2nd yes?
Edit. Maybe I misread it and you were just stating of whats left for later missions.

Sorry, I didn't articulate the question in my head. Can you paint an ASF with a searchlight? Seems like a rather fast and small target. Also, IIRC the searchlight rules are based on targeting hexes.

Ah, that's different.  Objection withdrawn.

No, you cannot target an aircraft with a searchlight, for the exact reason you specified.

You are correct. We don't have the Thumper yet.
So support will be:
2x Heavy Bombing from our heavy fighters
1x Light Bombing from our light fighter
3x Long Tom shots

I'm in a time crunch.  Can anybody commit to bringing the maps?

2nd: Can somebody confirm all minis are being brought, in relatively clear color differences between Capellans, St Ives, and us?  I saw Mike has all the record sheets handled.

Finally, fair warning: I have to bring Eli to this game.  My folks are out of town and all 3 non-family babysitting options have canceled.

I have 7/9 maps. I am missing the second Open Terrain 1 and Desert Hills.
As alternates, I have Open Terrain 2, Rolling Hills 1/2, City Ruins, and City Hills/Residential 2.
